“Be the channel energy can flow through.”
Miriam Orriss, CSA

Coaching can be a tricky business. For a start, there's the coaching. And then, there's the business. And then there's you, in the middle, committed to offering the best service you can to those you work with.
Bringing a supervisor into the mix means you're no longer holding all of that alone. You have someone to walk alongside you, as you unpack, take a breath and settle.

My definition of supervision? Meeting together in a spirit of radical hospitality, where all is welcomed. Supervision with shadow in mind means extending the welcome mat to all parts of you, known and as yet unknown, which helps you to offer more of yourself back to your clients and your practice.

Sound good? Good. There are two ways you can work with me to support your on-going professional development:

One to one supervision

Whether you're an experienced coach, or just starting out, having someone walking alongside you as reflect on your practice is golden. As coaches, we simply cannot see it all ourselves - our unconscious triggers, protective strategies, over-active sub-personalities, the impacts of the systems we're in...and our clients are in. On and on it goes, layers and layers of data, all waiting to be brought into conscious awareness during the dance of supervision.

My clients tell me that my supervision style is a place of calm, wise, accepting care. I might call it love. Either way, should you bump into anything difficult or shame-inducing...lucky you. We can gently hold it together until the tension dissolves.

Sometimes, your deepest learning and most impactful breakthroughs might come from the experience of working alongside others, in group. Certainly, from a shadow perspective, groups can be a rich ground of both trigger and mirror. They can take us back to the original 'group' of our family.

Through a supervision lens, then, this offers an incredible opportunity. On top of reflecting about whatever client or issue you might be bringing, we can also bring into focus powerful insights such as;

your relationship to power and authority; when you withdraw or 'invisible' yourself; the role does deference in your coaching; when and for whom you take responsibility; your need to rescue, smooth or appease.

Because the field is so rich, this opportunity is for people who agree to:

- time; we will work together over 10months so that we can safely and gently arrive into group, and then richly and sufficiently close down the group

- commitment; yes, life happens. However, I ask that we all enter into group intending to attend all sessions, for deep work has a sacred quality to it and we are each other's safety
